Making Money Ideas for a Website

I wanted to start a resource page right away for all the different ideas to make money with a website….

Ok, maybe I won’t be able to list every ideas for making money with a website but I figure I can scare up quite a pile.  I thought I’d start with general Idea, I’m sure pages upon pages could, and have been, written on each of these ideas in much more detail, but I want to keep it simple.  Simple ideas seem to get implemented quickly and as you may already know, the only way to really make any cash is to get started, right?

Some of the easiest ways of making money with a  website or blog are not necessarily the best earners, so don’t think this short list is the one that will make you rich by this time next week.  Making money online is a process and like any other worthwhile endeavor, it takes time….

Time on the Internet moves slow it seems, innovation is fast but you need to be patient to get solid results online and be making money every week or month.  You can’t work harder and be there in 30 days, hard work matters and I’m not saying it doesn’t but you can’t just work your way to where you want to be in a couple months.  I hear it was like that at some different points in the past depending on how you were trying to earn money, I don’t have any ideas to make serious money that take under a few months or six months really… Outside of a direct sales business model which isn’t really a website money making idea anyway and most people don’t just cash in with these business opportunities anyway.

These are all ways to make money with a website that have been around for while and look like they will be here for a good time to come.  They all depend on targeted traffic to really make money.  I’ll do a post on how to make money online without any web traffic soon, I actually do know a couple ways that it can be done and over time it will build traffic too.

Oh…. a note on websites, blogs work too.  I think making money ideas that work for website work just the same for a blog.  This is a blog and it was well on it’s way to paying for itself within a couple days of going live, so blogs can make money too.

Oh, another thing, don’t go wasting a bunch of cash on a website, it probably won’t help unless for some reason you just have to have a killer design or something, spending a bunch of dough on a website is likely going to be a waste of money.
